Easy Chia Jam

This is super easy and quick to make and delicious. It is very different from the processed jam in the shops. It can be made with most fruits, but I usually use some sort of berry.



  • 1.5 cups of frozen fruit (I’ve used blackberries in the photo)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds



  1. Place the fruit in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat, stirring occasionally, until cooked down
  2. Once they start to bubble add the maple syrup and lemon juice and simmer for another 2 minutes
  3. Remove from the heat and add the chia seeds and stir well
  4. Once cooled transfer to a glass jar and store in the fridge
